'NULLIFYING PASSAGE' - Kirsten Spuijbroek, solo exhibition
Working with ceramics requires long-term dedication and mastery of the complex principles of the craft in order to create this intense work.
Kirsten has worked on 'Nullifying Passage' for over a year, with the gate as a central powerful symbol. For Kirsten Spuijbroek, gates are guardians of our emotional well-being. In all its forms, the gate symbolizes transition, the passage from one state to another, leaving the familiar behind and embracing the unknown. It is an invitation to courage, to take the step and cross the threshold to what lies on the other side.

'Souvenirs and Samples' - Naré Eloyan, solo show
Naré Eloyan has recently completed the two-year international residency program at the Rijksakademie van Beeldende Kunsten. The exhibition Souvenirs and Samples (from the French souvenirs – memories) presents a selection of works developed during this period, offering an intimate insight into the artist’s evolving practice.
Conceived as a visual diary, Eloyan’s work explores the processes of fragmentation and reconstruction inherent to memory. She approaches her paintings as collages, often cutting up earlier works to reconfigure them into new compositions. Each piece emerges as a stratified image—layers of paint and recollection overlapping and transforming.
This act of recycling is closely tied to the artist’s engagement with remembrance and the attempt to reclaim what has been lost. Through this continual reworking, Eloyan captures the fluidity and unpredictability of visual associations, creating paintings that oscillate between persistence and disappearance, past and present.
